We know that as the North West continues to grow, locals need access to good quality public transport.

That’s why the Minns Labor Government is continuing to deliver on its plan to deliver more buses, with more frequent services on the way between Rouse Hill and Parramatta. 

I’m also pleased to announce that more regular school bus services are coming for North West Sydney. 

North West Sydney has done its bit and taken its fair share of growth. But for 12 years, the previous Liberal Government refused to deliver the quality bus services that we need. 

That is why we have already:

• Increased peak hour frequency of the 742 and 747 bus routes;

• Expanded hours of operation for these services and the 746 bus route; and

• Improved the 748 bus route to connect 5,500 people to Tallawong Metro station.

This means you can spend less time on your commute, and more time with your family. 

We know there is more to do, and investing in our bus network is part of our plan to deliver better connected communities.

• Route 742: from approx. 5:30AM weekdays; until 10:30PM every day.
• Route 746: from approx. 5AM weekdays; until 10:30PM weeknights.
• Route 747: from approx. 4:30AM weekdays and 6AM weekends; until 11PM every day.
• Route 748: until 10:30PM Sundays

Improved Frequency

• Route 740: every 15-30mins peak (currently 30mins)
• Route 742: every 30mins peak/weeknights and weekend daytime) (currently 60mins)
• Route 747: every 15-30 mins peak (currently 30mins)
